And Pie in the Sky pie buyers smile at the thought of pecan pies from Sofra Bakery and Cafe, Ana's newest venture.

Sara Rosenfeld
Pie in the Sky Committee Co-chair - Sara has been involved with Pie in the Sky since its inception in 1993 and served as a committee member since 1995. 2009 marks her first year as one of the committee's three co-chairs. She loves how the sale is a great opportunity for her colleagues to connect with their spheres of influence for a good cause at a traditionally less busy time of year. Sara admires Community Servings for "...its mission, people, vision, growth and amazing programs. The Park Plaza Castle - Affectionately know as "Pie Central," the Park Plaza Castle generously hosts Community Servings and Pie in the Sky the three days before Thanksgiving. In that time, over 10,000 pies are delivered to, quality-control checked at, and distributed from the 14,000+-square foot facility. Without heat, it's the perfect refrigerator for each pie before it sits on a buyer's Thanksgiving table.
